"Montmains" Chablis 1er Cru 2012 - 1 bottle

The wine-growing region, Chablis, is the most northern INAO recognised wine-growing region of the Burgundy region, approximately on the latitude of Basel. The wines produced exclusively from the Chardonnay grapes are elegant and dry, and have a distinct acidity which ideally support the fruitiness of the wine.

The Dauvissat family have been the owners of this vineyard since 1899, it spans approx. 9ha. The vines are between 20 and 40 years old. The cellars can be found under a building from the 17th Century and were expanded in 1980. Throughout the year they maintain an average temperature of 10-15°.
