Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande - 3 bottles

The history of this winery (87 hectares) founded in 1689 is particularly fascinating and the creative period of ‘winemaking master’ Joseph de Pichon-Longueville back in the 18th century can still be sensed in the beauty and elegance of his wines produced by his successors to this day. This is particularly true of the talented Virginie, Comtesse de Lalande, the inspiration for the passion that this splendid vineyard has always provoked amongst the womenfolk.

  • 3 bottles in an attractive wooden case
  • Origin: Pauillac AOC, Bordeaux, France
  • Vintage: 2011 (actual year may vary)
  • Grape varieties: 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot
  • Bouquet: Strong hints of dark berries with deep smoky tones, dark hardwoods, liquorice, cloves, dark-red rose - while retaining a fairly discreet character. Great aromas on the palate, alpine blueberries, plenty of cassis, balanced yet demanding astringency, including tannins which support the overall bouquet and provide the potential for an intense after-taste.
  • Content: 3× 75 cl
  • Alcoholic content: 13 %
  • Color: Extremely dark purple with lilac and violet hues

Products can only be returned or exchanged if there are product defects or incorrect goods have been delivered (food products).
