Belondrade y Lurton 2014 - 6 bottles

Robert Parker judges this wonderful, dry white as " one of the best Spanish white wines". Didier Belondrade, a Frenchman who fell in love with Spain, founded this small but fine vineyard, which is subsequently planted out with ancient Verdejo vine stocks, in 1994. The Belondrade y Lurtin acquires its subtlety and elegance through 10 months of ageing in barrels. It is vinified in the style of a white burgundy. The high-quality white-wine vine variety, Verdejo, has such a particular characteristic. It makes it a distinguished joy for real connoisseurs. Nowadays Didier Belondrade and Brigitte Lurton vinify this noble drop in the Rueda, a region that has always produced excellent white wine furore, using the same name Bordeaux family. This wine reveals its true potential most impressively after 3-4 years of bottle ageing.
